Due to a finger injury, Shahnawaz Dahani was ruled out of PSL 2023

Multan Kings quick bowler Shahnawaz Dahani has been controlled out of the rest of the Pakistan Super Association 2023 because of a break on his right little finger.

Dahani got the injury in the initial game against Lahore Qalandars when a ball that Sikandar Raza capably punched the ball down the ground struck his bowling hand. His right little finger has a fracture that, according to scans, necessitates surgery. It is perceived that he might actually be down and out for something like two months.

Dahani's replacement has not yet been chosen by the sultans.

Dahani has been Kings' pillar in the bowling unit. He made his PSL debut in 2021 and established a quick connection. He got 20 wickets in his initial season, the third-most in a solitary version of PSL, just behind Hasan Ali (25) and Faheem Ashraf (21) in 2019.

He was then optimized into the public group and he made his Pakistan debut in November 2021. He has appeared in two One-Day Internationals and 11 Twenty20 Internationals thus far.

Anwar Ali is a potential replacement for Dahani for the sultans. The first game was played by Sameen Gul and Ihsanullah, but Wayne Parnell and Josh Little, both international bowling picks, have not yet joined the team.

In the PSL's last two seasons, Sultans have won a lot of games. Last year, they were the most consistent team, losing only two of their 12 games, one of which was against Qalandars in the championship game. In the group stage, no other team won more than six games. In terms of wins, they have been the most successful franchise, finishing in the top two in each of the last three seasons and winning the title in 2021.
